Well, as some of you know by now there wasn't a shoot this month at 5 Dogs. There is a problem with the insurance and we (all 5 Dog members) need to be a NRA Member so we can get our insurance back into effect. Please contact your NRA representative, go on line to sign up or you can contact Vixen. She can get you signed up and give you a discount also. You can contact her at her email address . You can also call her at 661-588-3258. This is very important. If we do not get all the members signed up we won't be able to get our insurance back. The rules have been changed so that all the members have to be NRA members. If you are already a member please give your number to Miss Becky or give the number to Almost Dangerous so the number can be passed along to her. We are hoping to get this information in on time so we can have our shoot in March.

There were a lot of shooters who showed up for this month's match who weren't informed of the shut down on such a short notice. Therefore, after making the long drive, they decided to stay for the weekend anyway. There was some practicing done on the upper range, some skeet shooting, and just some down right fun was had. Also since most didn't wear their cowboy hats, a few people were sporting some sunburn. So please remember that even though it is still winter months, we can still get sunburned and dehydrated. Be sure to wear some head covering and drink plenty of fluids even on cloudy days. Alcohol liquid doesn't count.
